Polaris was a one-month field training on the Mendix low-code platform. Week one: the Mendix certification. The remaining three weeks: rebuilding an existing enterprise app from scratch as the hands-on exercise.

The part worth talking about

Inside that app I built a CV-scoring feature by wiring the OpenAI API into Mendix — it evaluates CVs, and it worked. I didn't finish the full rebuild in a month; a month was never going to be enough, and finishing wasn't the point. The certificate and the working AI feature are what I took away.
